This project focused on improving both accessibility and curb appeal. The home originally had a driveway but no dedicated walkway to the front entrance, forcing homeowners and visitors to walk across the lawn when both parking spaces were in use. The existing landscaping also featured patchy sod and overgrown, outdated bushes that detracted from the home’s appearance.
To solve this, we removed the old sod and shrubs, installed fresh new sod, and built a 4-foot wide walkway connecting the driveway to the sidewalk, ensuring easy access to the front door. An additional front walkway was added along the property line toward the neighboring home to improve flow and symmetry. The result is a clean, functional landscape that enhances usability and dramatically improves the home’s curb appeal.

This home in Toronto had dated wood plank flooring that produced noticeable squeaking throughout several areas. The subfloor planks had loosened over time, causing movement and noise underfoot, while the overall appearance of the flooring felt outdated.
We first secured the existing subfloor planks to the joists to eliminate movement and remove the source of the squeaks. Once the structure was properly reinforced, we installed new engineered hardwood flooring in a modern Portobello finish.
The home now features quiet, solid flooring with a fresh, modern look that significantly improves both the comfort and aesthetic of the space.
